A few lessons in English to give you the opportunities to develop your ability to: understand and interpret the content of in different types of texts, spoken and written and, express yourself and communicate orally and written in different situations.

Therefore, you are going to read different texts, using different reading strategies to understand the main content of the text.

A lesson will typically look like this:

You will begin by reading or listening to a text. You will often work in pairs

You will retell what you read to someone or in some other way demonstrate that you have understood the text.

You will get a small test to show me that you have learnt the words in English and Swedish.

5. In need of help.
Hjälp - Hur får du stöd för att klara arbetet?

Sometimes you will find it hard to understand your text. That is very natural, and a part of a learning experience. Try to figure it out yourself. If it seems impossible ask a friend or ask me, your teacher. You can use your smartphone, but just as a last resource.

6. How you demonstrate your knowledge.

My job as a teacher is to give you a grade so I will evaluate your work. sometimes I will give you a test, sometimes I will ask you to hand in a paper. During a lesson you also have the chance to show me your oral skills, so do not hesitate, speak English as often as possible.
