Way of working
seeking and choosing information (during no more than two lessons)
1. looking for pictures/photos to illustrate your TV studio. You can use Power point (about 10 slides)
2. from texts + 3. from the Internet about your state, for example: capital, sights, tourist information, famous places, famous people, nature, culture, history, films, food, environment, animals, , weather, sports, geography, population, inhabitants, fashion, religion, education/school, criminality, shopping, music, local accent, medical care, ways of living, dumb laws. (Look at this. It might help to interesting for news.
IF you have a special interest – start with that!
preparing two or three questions about your state to be used in a quiz/Jeopardy/Kahoot
Examination
Hand in 2-3 questions about your state. Add the answer as well.
Write a text in which you compare your state to another state (or Canada) and discuss. You are allowed to have a mind-map – but with ONLY keywords with facts (no sentences or phrases). You will be writing the whole lesson.¨(I'm not sure if we are going to do this or not)
