MY COUNTRY

Now you have the chance to create your own country.
Write a guide that will help the reader decide whether or not he/she should visit your country.

Now you have the chance to create your own country.

You work for a travel agency.  You are going to create a guide about your new country.  You have to create facts about the country.  Then write texts about all the interesting things to do and see in your country.  Add a few pictures.

To  be included in your text:

·       The name of your country

·       The flag

·       The capital city

·       The population (work,habitat)

·       The family life /food

·       The religions

·       The culture (arts, architecture)

·       The sports/hobby

·       Famous people (music, film…)

·       The official language (English)  and other languages common to your country

·       The currency

·       The exports and imports

·       The landscape

·       The political system

·       The geography (lakes, mountains, beaches….)

Don’t forget to describe ways of reaching your country: how to travel there, which countries you need to travel through……

Choose some  of the following tourists activities(minimum 4, maximum 6)  and describe in more details what they are.

·       Food

·       Accommodation

·       Theatres/cinemas

·       Museums

·       Beaches (if you have any)

·       Mountains, lakes, rivers

·       National parks

·       Volcanoes

·       Hot springs

·       “wonders of the world” that can be seen

·       Cultural festivals: what they celebrate, historical background, traditions, special costumes.

OBS!

Your  work should be at least 4 pages and no more than 5 (not counting the pictures). (ca 1300 words)

You can use a maximum of 6 pictures.  The flag and a map of your country do not count as pictures.
