Clio Idols and Outlaws

This unit is all about growing up and struggling to form an identity of your own.
Much about life and growing up is about the feeling that you ought to do this and should do that. This leads us directly to modal verbs and a number of activities where you get to practise using them yourself.

•  You will work with the unit "Idols and Outlaws" on Clio Online.

•  You will read the texts and do activities to learn words and phrases from this unit.

•  You will practice using modal verbs in different exercises.

• to watch, listen to and comprehend English video clips to collect information.

• to express my hopes and dreams for the future orally and in writing.

• to identify and use modal verbs according to their specific functions

 

Final assessment

• You will hold a presentation about an idol or role model
