Wings 7 section 1 - Music

In this section we will read and talk about Music. We are going to practice phrases that you use when you are discussing music. We will also learn words for instruments and things connected to music. To prepare for your test you will do exercises in workbook and get to practice during lessons. It is important that you look at wordlists when you read texts in textbook. We will also study grammar.

Mål

Målet med arbetsområdet "Music" är att du ska:

• utöka ditt ordförråd för att kunna prata om musik (instrument, genrér mm)
• förbättra din förmåga läsa och förstå olika typer av texter inom ämnet
• förbättra din förmåga att samtala om och beskriva låtar du gillar, olika musikstilar, olika instrument.
• förstå grammatiken du har studerat och kunna använda den i tal och skrift: pågående form presens av verben be, have samt andra verb.

• Du får arbeta med att utöka ditt ordförråd inom ämnet musik.
• Du får läsa olika typer av texter.
• Du får diskutera musik och hur människor förhåller sig till det.

You interviewed 2-3 classmates about their musical tastes.

The questions are here:

1. What kind of music do you listen to?

2. What’s your favorite music?

3. Why do you like this music?

4. Who is your favorite artist?

5. Why do you like this artist?

6. What kind of music do you listen to when you are happy?

7. What kind of music do you listen to when you are sad?

8. What kind of music do you prefer dancing to?

After that, you are writing a text about the interview. You will compare what type of music your classmates like, and what type of music you like.
