In this unit, we will cover
-Models of physics to describe and explain the occurrence of particle radiation and electromagnetic radiation, and also the impact of radiation on living organisms. How different types of radiation can be used in modern technology, such as in healthcare and information technology.
-Supply and use of energy historically and currently, as well as possibilities and limitations in the future.
The ability to:
-discuss, review and argue on how we should use radioactive substances today and in the future
- Explain how these substances both save and take life plan and carry out scientific studies on different types of radiation created by radioactive substances
-describe and explain concepts such as an atom, atomic nucleus, electron, particle accelerator, ion, isotopes, gamma radiation, half-life, background radiation, and radiation dose and dosimeter
-discuss, review and argue on proposed goals for achieving sustainable energy supply by 2050
-plan and carry out scientific studies on the energy principle, energy conversions, and sustainable energy sources
-describe and explain concepts such as position energy and motion energy, chemical energy, the energy principle, efficiency, renewable energy sources, non-renewable energy sources, and the greenhouse effect.

There will be three different 3 tasks and one lab, to assess the knowledge and skills, that are distributed one by one. These assessments are individual and written. Each assignment has a separate deadline for submission.
