ME + Diagnoses yr 7, 2019 (w.35-39)

You are going to present yourself, both in Speaking and Writing. The text - a letter - will be revised. You are also going to do some diagnoses in Reading and Listening. In Prime Time, text book and work book, you will work with one or two texts.

• To improve your speaking, writing, listening, reading, vocabulary and grammar in English

How to work with this

• You are going to write a letter to your teacher. You will get a letter from your teacher with questions to answer and some instructions of what to include in your letter.
• You are going to talk about yourself - in pairs and groups.
• You are going to prepare a mind-map about ME. You will get a mind-map with different topics.
• You will work with one or two texts in Prime Time (text and work book). You will read and translate the texts as well as work with words and exercises.
• You are going to prepare a short talk, 3-4 minutes long. Use your mind-map as support for your memory.

You are going to work with this during lessons and HEL.

Examination

1. You are going to write a letter to your teacher, in w.3. Use the letter from your teacher, as well as the instrucions (= a check list).
2. You are also going to do three diagnoses in Reading (Wednesday w.36) and two diagnoses in Listening (Monday w.37).
3. You are going to present  a short-talk (3-4 min) about yourself in groups of 5-6 pupils. Use your mind-map. Will be done w.38-39.
4. You are going to revise your letter. Will be done w.39.
