The review (no more classes after Thursday)

Hand-in first draft: week 39

Hand in final version: one week after you get your first draft back

 

Week 39:

Watch a movie and discuss it in groups or class

 

Week 40-41:

Literary periods - The Middle Ages

 

Week 42-3:

Read and work with The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian:

 

• Before reading the book: Group work and oral presentations
• While reading the book: Questions to each part and seminars
• After reading the book: Test - write an essay

 

Week 42-51:

Different assignments focusing on improving your English, for example:

 

• Speaking exercises
• Grammar
• Listening exercises
• Reading and working with different texts
