By learning how to use the ten rules of Subject verb agreement, students will receive knowledge that is essential in order to interact in both oral and written communication.


Firstly, by working with different worksheets concerning the rules of subject verb agreement, students will practice using the rules in different written situations.

Secondly, each week students will try to compose (create) sentences regarding the rules that they have been working with during that week.

Lastly, students are to write a text consisting of MAX 300 words (OBS if you write more than 300 words the words that are written after the 300 word count will not be read by the teacher!). The text should be about ONE of the following two topics:

 

 1.    You are applying for a stipendium (consisting of 50 000 :- swe krona) for a class trip. Describe who you are, how old you are and what your class is going to do with the money if you get the stipendium. In addition, try to explain why the money should be granted to you!

 

2.    During the summer you met an old friend in Spain. Now you are going to respond to a letter that she/he/they sent you. Try explaining what is going on in your life, how school is and what you do during your spare time. Also, tell your friend what you would like to study at upper secondary school (high school).
