We are going to use the Second Step program to emphasize and deal with emotions, to express emotions in socially acceptable ways, to think about social situations in accurate and constructive ways, and learn prosocial behaviours through practice.
Social-emotional skills are importnat to healthy child development. Skills such as empathy, motion management, and social problem solving contribute to make children good members of the group.
The goals that we set through the Second Step program are:
- Establish classroom rules
- Learn the concept of "Being a Good friend"
- Become Independet
- Learn how to cooparate and share
- Deal with emotions (angry, sad, happy...)
We will try to achieve the goals through:
