Fg Crime and Fear åk 9 2019

For the next few weeks we'll look into the world of fear and crime.

Get ready to discuss and analyze fictional as well as real crimes, and of course the fears that follow. In the end we´ll have to ask ourselves why we choose to voluntarily expose ourselves to horrific movies about murderers and monsters? And why do we entertain ourselves by reading crime novels and watching crime series? What fears do we carry around in our every day lives? Hopefully we´ll get closer to the answers – and get some good thrills while doing it.

Subject Purposes

You will improve your written and oral skills by practicing a lot and thereby get some proper preparation before the National Tests, among other things.

You will read – and listen to – different texts, dialogues, lyrics and songs.

You will prepare yourself for a debate on a subject that concerns crime and fear in one or the other way. 

You will work with a special vocabulary concerning crime and punishment.

Oral assignment:

We will on a couple of occasions debate issues concerning crime. 

You choose your arguments carefully and thoroughly. Remember to use all the sources available to get "fuel" to your debate.
