Oral presentation - TV programmes or series

Do you follow a TV series or have you done that before? What is so captivating about watching TV and getting to know the characters? You are going to do a presentation of a TV programme or series and explain why you like it so much. You are going to sit in small groups and do your presentation and you will record your presentations on an iPad.

Assignment:

You are going to do a presentation of a TV programme or series that you follow or have followed. You will sit in a small group when doing your presentation, so you can listen to presentations made by others in the group. You will record your presentations on an iPad.  

Preparation:

You have read some chapters in your textbook about different types of TV programmes and learnt some ueseful words, that can come in handy when you do your presentation.

Your presentation will be graded according to these criteria:

• contents - Give some information of a TV programme or series that you follow or have followed. What is it about? What characters do you meet and what are they like? Talk about your favourite episode and why you like it som much.
• context and continutity - Is your information given in a way, so it is easy to follow what you mean?
• presentation skills - Is your speech fluent? Are words pronounced well, so it is easy to understand what you say? Can you continue your presentation, even if you can't find the correct words or if you lose focus and forget what to say?

NB! If you don't watch TV or follow any series, you can do a presentation of a computer game instead.
