The ingredients to writing a mystery

Grades 3-5 will be learning what it takes to write a mystery story! In the lessons we will watch a short clip of Netflix's InBESTigators and talk about the characters, the setting, clues and red herrings. In the coming weeks we will have idea exchanges and the goal is to write a mystery story collectively as a class including ideas from everyone. I will send all the parents the creative colaborations mystery stories when they are finished.
