The plan is to gradually work with the vocabulary in the book Green Eggs and Ham week by week, by reading and tracing individual words and then phrases in order to make the pupils familiar with the entire vocabulary of the book. The idea is to exercise muscle memory (by writing by hand), visual memory of the voculary, and self-efficacy (a strong belief in one's own ability). By first working extensively on the vocabulary, my hope is that they'll be able to read the book easily, thereby increasing their belief in their own ability to read and their belief in their ability to improve their reading.
