In this project you will learn how to draw cartoons. We will practice drawing the human body from different angles, framing and how to create emotion within still images. We will also learn about cartoons from both past and present, from Captain America to Sailor Moon!

Innehåll

CONTENT

During this work area you will do several sub-tasks where you step by step will learn  how to make a cartoon. We will practice drawing the human body from different angles, and learn how to create mood and describe emotions in a image. We will also learn how cartoon series from Japan look like (Manga).

TARGET

The final task in this project is to create a comic in a A3 paper. In the final task you  have the chance to "show" all the skills that you have learned during the project.

RESCOURCES

Paper, pencil, ink, newspaper clippings, ruler, crayons and crayons.

ASSESSMENT

We will read each others cartoons and you will give feed-back on a class-mates cartoon. The teacher will give you feedback on your sub-tasks and your final cartoon.
