Hi there! Välkommen till årskurs 7 på Spånga grundskola! Nu ska vi tillsammans arbeta med ett kärnämne, dvs engelska. Vi ska lära oss om musik, uttryck inom musik (section1), kläder (section 2), läsa en bok i en bokcirkel à fyra personer. Section 1: MUSIC – Before you start. What is it about?

Reading/Texts: The Story of U2, My music isn´t yours and The Idol phenomenon.

Vocabulary: Exercices from work book.

Grammar: Verbs have and be, all verbs in present tense, third person ”-s”.

Speaking: Idol scetches group preparation, rehearsing, performing, feedback.

Writing: Fan letter to a pop star.

Listening: Gap-filling in a song, ”an audition”.

Week 44: Autumn half-term holiday

Week 45 (Section 2/book circle, read my introduction, please).

Reading/Texts: New Clothes, In the Shops, Where is Bob? More texts, other texts?

Vocabulary

Grammar: Position of adverbs. Past tense. Irregular verbs

Speaking: Fashion show. Describing clothes.

Writing: Commentary to fashion. Describe a friend and a monster. Poem.

Listening: Shopping – who buys what? Listen and draw a monster. Missing people.
