Writing task – “Dear future me”.

 

You are going to write a letter to yourself where you describe your life today as well as your feelings and your plans for the future.  You will get to read the letter again at the end of year 9.

 

Make sure you structure your text as a letter. Use the texts in the textbook as inspiration. Write at least one page, size 12, spacing 1,5.

 

Your text should include:

 

o   Date

 

o   Greeting/salutation

 

o   Body 

 

o   A presentation of yourself today (family, friends, hobbies, school) 

 

o   Your hopes and predictions about the future (education, job, love, hobbies)

 

o   Closing lines
