Mål:

Arbetsområdets mål: (Vad eleven ska ha lärt sig)

Du ska efter avslutat arbetsområde kunna skriva en text på engelska där innehållet i film och text bearbetas utifrån en karaktärs perspektiv. Du ska kunna avgränsa sin text och skriva med eget språk. Du ska också ha kännedom om innehållet i boken Charlie and the Chocolate factory och kunna redogöra för några skillnader och likheter mellan filmframställning och text, både muntligt och skriftligt. Ytterligare ska du kunna presentera argument samt föra fram åsikter kring karaktärer muntligt på engelska i diskussioner kring text och film.

Arbetsområdets innehåll:

Arbetsområdet syftar till att utveckla dina kunskaper i det engel­ska språket och kunskaper om klassisk engelsk litteratur samt att stärka din förmåga att använda det engelska språket utifrån olika material och situationer. Undervisningen syftar till att stärka dina kommunikativa förmågor.

Uppgifterna till text och film handlar om att analysera och jämföra innehåll. Du kommer att arbeta aktivt med att stärka sitt ordförråd och att bearbeta innehållet i text och film. 

Material:

Det material du har tillgång till tillhandahålls framförallt av läraren och består av textutdrag samt uppgiftsmaterial till texter och film.

Metod:

Du kommer att arbeta både i grupp och enskilt. Arbetet kommer att genomföras både muntligt och skriftligt. Du kommer att arbeta med att bearbeta information och att använda informationen dels i gruppuppgifter och dels i enskilda uppgifter. Du kommer att använda sig av olika arbetssätt, både digitala och analoga.

Examination:

Du ska skriva en uppsats utifrån en karaktär i Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Du ska också skriva logg kring filmens innehåll och lämna in för bedömning.

Du kommer att sitta i grupp och prata med dina kamrater kring den som du valt att skriva om. Ni ska skapa er en uppfattning om hur det är att vara en av deltagarna och sedan vara den karaktären.

 

Vi kommer också att jobba med grammatik och ord under filmens gång. Vi kommer att ha test/läxa/koll på orden för att ni ska lära er dem. Vi kommer även att ha ett kort grammatiktest så ni har förstått och den och kan använda den. De saker som vi kommer att gå igenom i grammatiken denna gång är Possessiva pronomen, Tidsprepositioner, Frågeord, Regelbundna och oregelbundna verb i dåtid.

Final assignment; The Wonka Factory experience

"The Wonka Factory experience" WHAT - You are going to write an essay in English. In this text you are going to think and write as if you were one of the children in the film. Follow the instructions below. Hand in your text on time. HOW - You may write you text by hand or on computer. Remember to use common writing rules as dot, capital letter and paragraphs. TIME - You will get two lessons in school to write.

1) Chose one of the children from the film.

2) Make a mind map where you structure your answers to the following questions. Remember to think from you characters perspective. a) Describe how you got the ticket and how you felt about this. b) Describe what you see, feel and experience when you enter the chocolate factory. What do you think about the other children? What do you think about Mr Willy Wonka? c) Describe what happens to you inside the factory. d) What happens to you after you leave the factory? Will you ever be normal again? Describe!

3) Write a text from your mind-map. Write in I-form and in past tense.

4) Check your text, Hand in your assignment.
