To Understand English from Reading and Listening - 7D

One of the important things about English is of course the understanding of the language. To both be able to read and listen are important to be able to master the English language. The skills are being tested by four parts, two parts of different reading exercises and two part of listening The result will give guidance of the skillset to understand English by the pupil. The tests are old nationaltest examples and are throughly adapted to suit the level of english of a ninth grader.

1. Purpose

To practise and develop our ability to understand English when it comes to reading and listening.

2. Content

There will be three tests, one reading with two different parts and two parts of listening. The result from the to test will result in the students grading form the criterias of understanding English of both reading and listening.

3. Assesment

The tests show how the students can scan through a test and find the correct answer, it's also about understanding words but also the concept and the situation from reading a text or listening to a radio programme. Using strategies for understanding will be important to be able to find the correct answers on the different questions.
