It is time to learn more about English speaking countries! You will choose one country where English is the official language and learn more about this country and how they celebrate christmas!

What? 

We are studying English speaking countries

 

Why?

English as a subject is not just about the language, it is also about culture and life.

 

How? 

You are going to do doing some research on your own.

 

Assessment? 

You will present this to me in a presentation, where you will show your knowledge about one English speaking country.

 

Your presentation should contain the following:

-A picture of the country from a map
 
- Important facts: name of the capital, other big cities, population etc

 -Animal life, sports, famous people

- How christmas is celebrated 

Also let us know how English is spoken in your country, add a youtube clip to your presentation.

Countries to choose from:
Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, Scotland, South Africa and of course England.
