We want to work with the four seasons as a way of exploring the world around us, work with sustainability and learn about simple natural science.

we want the children to learn about the world around them, sustainability and natural science in an informative and fun way. The seasons is a great tool since nature changes by itself and can show the children what different father does to our environment. 

Purpose/Reason behind the topic

- what do we want to achieve when working on this topic?

We want the children to learn more about the seasons, the climate, sustainability and natural science. 

- what are the children interested in?

The children are interested in the world around them and have different questions about why the weather is changing, why ice is melting, why it's snowing etc. As we will start with the season winter, these will be good questions to explore. 

Activities

- How are we going to reach the goals? 

By being outside exploring a lot. the children get to be explorers and finding out by them selves what happens in nature by simple experiments and fun projects. they will get to be creative in many ways and explore by creating different arts and crafts with the seasonal topic in mind. 

- What activities are we planning to reach our goals?

lots of walks and play outside to see for ourselves how nature is changing. By doing arts and crafts and learning by videos and reading. the children will also get to experiment and see for themselves what happens to snow when it's warm, etc.

By filming and photographing their learning. By draw or paint their experience.
