Project - Agenda 2030
During the Autumn term we have been working with our project - Agenda 2030
The project has gone very well and you have all learnt a lot from each other.
● Translated all the 17 goals of Agenda 2030 into English.
Discussed the goals and their meanings with me and your class.
● Chosen 2 or 3 goals to investigate, by yourselves or in a small group.
● You have made presentations of these goals to your class, by using digital presentations and poster work.
WWF- World Wide Foundation
1. We will first watch a You Tube film- “Our Planet”- David Attenborough.
2. You may work by yourself or with a classmate
3. Choose an endangered (utsatt för fara) animal, reptile or insect, that you think would be interesting to find out more about and present to your class.
4. Plan a presentation. You can use your computers or Ipads to help you research and present.
5. You may design a poster too if you would prefer that.
6. Your presentation should be about 5 minutes long.
7. Expect to have feedback from your classmates and from me afterwards.
Your presentation should include some of the following facts:-
1. Find out about the WWF and what they do- use the internet to help you.
2. What is the main purpose of the WWF?
3. Why does the WWF use the panda as their logo?
4. Tell your class about the animal, reptile or insect you chose and why it’s endangered..
5. Where does it live, in which enviroment, what does it eat? etc...
6. What would happen to the world if this animal, reptile insect would become extinct (utdöd), would it be a serious problem for us and nature?
7. How is the WWF connected to Agenda 2030?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are working with Agenda 2030 in the whole of Härryda kommun. This is a project that we will be working on all year.
Students will become more aware of what is happening in the world, open their eyes and become part of the global goals and involved in a positive way.
Students will have the time to speculate and reason with each other about the goals and if they are possible or not in the long run.
Our Goals :-
We have worked with all 17 global goals so far, we will now work with the WWF foundation.
Working with animals/fish etc.. is directly related to the global goals in Agenda 2030.
Students will have the chance to study different animals and gain knowledge about them and their status.
Students will investigate to find information about the animal they choose, and will learn new words, practice their writing and presenting skills.
