- What goals from the curriculum do we want to work towards?

- why these goals?

We wanted the children to follow their curiosity with changing the seasons. Also the children were showing an interest about how animals handle this cold season and survive winter. We focused on reflecting their opinions about animals hibernating and migrating. We wanted to extend the children's vocabulary and imagination.

The children were more keen on the animals and their survival in the winter. 

Activities

- How are we going to reach the goals? 

We are going to explore migration, hibernation and animals growing warmer coats. We are going to look into people in winter and what they are doing to keep warm and focus on Sami people of Sweden. 

- What activities are we planning to do to reach our goals?

Arts and crafts mostly, nature walks, listening to stories, watching short clips, reading facts about animals, discussions.
