Project Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 7C

In this project you will get to know different characters from "Charlie and the chocolate factory", the book written by Roald Dahl and film directed by Tim Burton. Prepare yourself to enter a world of weird characters and a lot of funny candy. Are you ready?

Project: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 

Goals

You will:

• be able to write a text in English from the perspective of one of the characters. The content from the book and the film will be used. You will also practise to limit your text (avgränsa).
• be able to use your own language.
• get knowledge about the content in the book and the film.
• be able to compare similarities and differences between the book and the film, both in speaking and in writing.
• be able to present some arguments and opinions about the characters, in oral discussions about the book and the film.

 

Examinations

 

• Writing Logbook: you will write three logs about the content in the film (See Uppgift) 
• Speaking All the discussions you have during lessons

• Optional final assignment (writing or speaking):
  Writing and essay: You will also write an essay in which you pretend being one of the characters in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (See Uppgift)
  Speaking assignment: You will tell the story of one of the characters in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (See Uppgift)
