Short Stories, åk 8

Short stories are a certain kind of genre within literature. Some authors even get the Nobel Prize for writing them, e.g. Alice Munro. We are going to read, analyze and discuss one and, if we got the time, you are going to write a short story of your own.

- What is a short story? 

- We are going to read Roald Dahl's short story " The Hitchiker" and also analyze the contents.

We are going to discuss the characteristics of a short story.

We read and discuss "The Hitchhiker". You will be given questions  to answer

 in written form. We're also going to discuss the story in class and in small groups.
