Read a novel of your own choice and prepare to hand in your thoughts on what you have read. More info at "innehåll".

Book-report

Points 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are compulsory. If you like, you could also think about point 9 to write about.

As you write your book-report, please use Times New Roman 12pts, 1 ½ distance.

1.       1. Retell the story in short all the way to the end. (max ½ page)

 

2.       2. Describe three episodes (events) in the book that you particularly liked.

    Also explain why you liked these episodes.

 

3.       3. Describe the main character’s traits and behavior. Describe situations

    in which these traits appear.

 

4.       4. How is the setting portrayed? Describe both the geographical setting

   (nature, environment) as well as the social setting (life, work, school,

    poverty, wealth etc.) Give many details!

 

5.       5. Describe the end of the story. Did you think it would end this way?

    Why / why not?

 

6.       6. Why do you think the author wrote this book (think of its contents)?

    Has he/she any particular reason for writing it do you think?

 

7.       7.  What about the title of the book? Why do you think the author has chosen it?

 

8.       8.  Will you remember anything of the book? Does it give you anything to think about?

     Did you learn anything from it? Tell and explain!

 

9.       9.  How did you like the book? Think of content, characters, setting, language and more. Motivate your               answer thoroughly, that means (i.e) you should give your reasons for liking or disliking the book.
